The following matches are scheduled for thursday:

United Internet Team Germany vs Victory Challenge

Mascalzone Latino - Capitalia Team vs +39 Challenge
Team Shosholoza vs China Team
Desafío Español 2007 vs Emirates Team New Zealand

Bad weather prevents racing

May 3, 2007

Thanks to thunder, lightning, rain, and hail, the Flight 5 races couldn't go ahead today. They have been postponed until tomorrow, assuming suitable weather, and are scheduled to be held before the Flight 6 races.

On a separate note, it was reported today that there have been more than one million visitors to Port America's Cup so far this season. Daily attendance has been climbing in a clear indication that excitement is building up to the end of the Round Robin races of the 2007 Louis Vuitton Cup.

Mascalzone Latino-Capitalia Team and Desafío Español to re-sail Flight 4 race

May 3, 2007

Mascalzone Latino-Capitalia Team were found to be in breach of an America's Cup Class Rule during their race against Desafío Español 2007 on wednesday. The America's Cup Jury decided that a re-race rather than a disqualification was the most appropriate punishment for the Italian team since the the violation was unlikely to have a material impact on the outcome of the race. Mascalzone Latino-Capitalia Team have acknowledged the decision but are sure to be disappointed as their win over Desafío Español 2007 marked their first win in six races. An official announcement is expected to be made on friday.
